The September Ag In The Classroom course will engage students by participating in hands on activities and be able to understand the role agriculture has in McKenzie County! Classes will be held at the McKenzie County Library.

Set up camp in Watford City for three rounds of Rodeo Action, A Western Art Show and Cowboy Culture Gathering, a Cowboy Donut Breakfast and two nights of Rodeo Dances all in the beautiful new McKenzie County Ag Expo

Celebrate our western heritage at the North Dakota’s Rodeo Finals. Enjoy the art show featuring western artists, makers, crafters. Sit down sit down between rodeos to listen to some of the best entertainers in the genre! Rodeo dances each night. Full schedule being updated, come back for more details.

McKenzie County Ag in the Classroom is offered to students in grades 2nd-5th. Students and teachers spend the day at the Ag Expo where they learn about agriculture, see many farm animals, explore tractors, participate in a hands-on activity and of course get to enjoy milk and cookies!

There will be a variety of animals for all to see and pet! From horses to chickens there is something for everyone! All Ages are welcome!

Come celebrate the season with us at our Fall Fest! The Roughrider Center and Ag Expo have teamed up to create a day packed with pumpkins, fall activities and so much more!

Get ready to lace up your running shoes and get outside at our Fall Fest 5K Run! This 5K combines fitness with fall fun, offering a perfect way to celebrate the season while staying active.

Come out to the Ag Expo Saturday from 10-5pm and see the Sheriff & Police Department, Highway Patrol, Forest Service, and many more! Friday & Sunday the corn maze, train rides, pedal cars, pumpkins and crafts will be available!

McKenzie County is excited to host another indoor Slingshot, Legend, and Kart race! While it'll be crisp and cool outside, inside the action heats up on the track! Join us for a day of non-stop racing excitement, where the Bakken Shootout champions will emerge!
